Shop Sunday!-The Mom Diggity

This Sunday I want to tell you about a shop called The Mom Diggity (Celebrating beauty in the chaos).  This shop started with the mom who was an event planner, before becoming a stay at home mom! Her name is Kara-Kae and she seems like the sweetest person through all of her writing, and I have never even met her.

Kara-Kae is a mother of three little girls, who decided that her and husband were going to pursue adoption.  Her shop consists of lots of cute clothing to support them in bringing home their little baby! Here is a little bit of her background “The Mom Diggity is the place that I’m honest and real about motherhood, and I hope to be an encouragement and inspiration to other moms.
Whether you are like me and have tiny ones or whatever stage you are in, I hope that you can
come here and get real with me. I promise not to sugar coat parenting, but will encourage you
to enjoy every moment as we become the moms that God calls us to be!”

The clothing ranges from $17-$27 and goes directly into their adoption fund to bring their precious joy home! They have a goal of $40,000 to reach in such a short time, since they are doing domestic adoption.  I definitely had to help in any way possible, once I heard that! I bought the love is greater than blood shirt and it is such a cute shirt! I love the material and it’s a relaxed fit and so comfortable! I am hoping soon to buy Brielle the adoption is rad shirt, it’s beyond precious and so true!

I am definitely rooting for this sweet family to reach the funds they need, and I cannot wait to see another precious addition added to their family! If you would like to purchase a shirt click here or you follow kara-kae on instagram @momdiggity.

Can’t wait to see where their journey goes, and I am definitely along for the ride!:)

Shop Sunday

Shop Sunday

I created this genre of posts because I know that Sunday can be a day to browse the internet for some good deals, to relax and just overall enjoy the day.  I want to provide information about a different shop each week, whether I buy the item or not, just to spread the word of the shop.

This Sunday I am going to describe to you a shop called Seven Days Shop (purchase with a purpose).  This shop consists of cute accessories that support adoption.  Ranging from cotton headbands to silk ones, bow ties to jewelry, and a bundle package offered as well, at an affordable price!  After seeing my friend’s post on her website, I knew I had to get one!

Adoption is/has always been close to my heart.  While personally I do not know anyone who has chosen adoption, I loved to read the stories and to see that these precious children get a chance at a second life!  While Shane and I are not quite at this point in our life to open that door, we know it is likely to be in our future!

This shop provides help to a specific family going through their adoption process.  After purchasing a item of theirs, they hand-wrote me a thank you note for supporting the family they are currently helping.  Knowing that your purchase, is helping bring a child into a loving home, made all the difference in the world to me.

I purchased the silk, adjustable knot headband and it is amazing! It is soft, pretty, and keeps all my fly-aways tame! I love that this shop is affordable, cute, and shipped relatively fast after my purchase!

If you would like to help contribute to this amazing shop you can find it at Shop Seven Days

Thank you so much Ruthie for putting this on your blog, and opening many eyes (including mine) to such a wonderful world of adoption, and the many people that continue to make this happen!  Adoption rocks, and I hope many of you help spread the word!
