The pain kept coming,
wave after agonizing wave.
Sharpness and pain hurting you so bad,
it felt like water hitting the embankment.
Cramping and aching,
warned you that the next wave was about to arrive.
Tucked in a fetal position,
seemed to be your only form of relief.
And before you even knew,
the waves stopped coming.
Suddenly all of the pain you felt,
just disappeared inside you.
