The future

If you know me, you would know that I have always had tried to have my future mapped out.  I would tell you at 10, that I would want to go grow up, fall in love, get married, and have babies.  Fast forward 10 years, and I was still thinking the same thing. Now, 7 years later, I have accomplished all of that (even though I have lost two out of the three babies I have had, God knew what he was doing when he changed my career path to be a nurse and to learn to love and take care of anyone, no matter what situation they have/are going through).

Now, I have new goals in my future, new hopes, new dreams.

My first goal, would be to give the best life I can possibly give, to my daughter.  She is the world to me and Shane, and we want to make sure she understands her relationship with the Lord, and truly flourishes with all the talent and love God has provided her with.  I hope to be the leader she wants me to be, and to be her friend when she needs a shoulder to cry on.  I see great things happening in her future, and I can’t wait to see where life takes her!

Effortlessly gorgeous.

My next goal would build a home on a piece of land, God’s precious gift, to man-kind.  I would love to see my life and family flourish on the country-side and really grow as a family out there.

Third, would be to never forget to take the time to do what I love.  I would LOVE to actually truly research all the ins and outs of publishing a book, and write a book about my life.  I would love to reach so many people, just with my words, and I would love to see what God has in store for me with that idea! 🙂

Fourth, would be to really grow and become a successful nurse and never stop learning.  I love to learn about the newest technologies and learning about science.  I would love to see that one day in my future, we could come up with a cure to some of the major diseases and illnesses that take so many of our lives away too soon.

To grow, to learn, to help.
To grow, to learn, to help.

Lastly, I never want to forget to have the goal to just open the door, and enjoy the beauty of what’s right in front of me.  The flowers, the dirt, the trees, the beauty of wind, and all that surrounds me each and every day.  I never want to get so busy in life, that I can’t stop and just take a moment to appreciate what is right in front of me.

Nature, at its finest.

  1. Omg…. It’s so scary how you’ve written down my goals on your blog! Lol. I’ve never really had an interest in nursing, but maybe something on the business end of the medical field. See if I can’t make a difference. This is beautiful!! Good luck!
