This letter was pretty difficult for Brielle to understand, until she actually got to do it. K does that stand for a lot of things that a toddler would understand, so coming up with ideas was particularly interesting this week.
Kite was one of the first things that came to my mind, and I am so glad that my parents had recently bought her one and were planning on using it this week! She absolutely loved it, even though my parents did say that the wind got pretty strong and was blowing her and the kite into a different direction.
Kitten was also another word I knew she would know. She LOVES cats, especially ours, so kitten was not a hard concept for her to understand. It’s funny just describing that “kittens are just cats when they are babies”, I definitely got a “huh” from Brielle a few times before she understood!
Kiss was a GREAT representation of the letter, and since she absolutely LOVES to do it, I figured this would be great for her learning the letter K! She will kiss a stranger, a baby just looking at, practically anyone she feels the need to, and it’s adorable. As much as I don’t like her kissing absolutely strangers kids, I think about how precious it is that she is loving on someone she does not know. Oh, how things change once they grow up.
This week was fun and I have a few cute pictures to represent the week! L will definitely be something to look forward to, since we are going to the ZOO! Stay tuned…:)
