This day was one for the books. It started out with a great night of sleep (8+ hours which is so far and few between that it felt AMAZING) and made breakfast for everyone, before getting ready for the day!
We started out by heading over to my parents house with the intention to spend the first half at my parents and then the second half at Shane’s parents. We started out by just hanging out for a while and catching up with everyone since it’s very rare to have both my family and my brothers family in one place together. It was so nice to be able to catch up with each other!
The Easter egg hunt that followed was SO fun with all of the kids. Emma is 3 and is so smart and found majority of the eggs, and was even willing to share it with Brielle and Aiden. Then Brielle liked finding the eggs, and of course eating some of her favorite chocolates along the way. Aiden was so precious just walking every where and finding the eggs and throwing them on the ground and watching the egg break open, it was hilarious to see.
I am so glad that Brielle got a nap in before my brother and his family came over, she was SO happy to see them. 🙂 Then after everything was done and the kids were all their sugar low’s, we headed out to Shane’s parents house before the night was over. She loved getting to see them and spend time with them, eat some delicious food and dessert, and even found more candy that her Granny hid for her to find! I love that Brielle has so many people that love her and will do so much for her to make her happy and live life to the fullest.
“There is no better time for a new beginning than while celebrating the death, burial, and especially the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because of His sacrifice, we can walk each day in power, wholeness, purpose and life. We love you and believe that God’s resurrection power will bring healing, restoration, and favor to your life.” -Joel Osteen
