Letter of the week: B

I obviously love this week because I love the letter B!  This week we sort of just took a fun approach with the letter B by drawing, making up a new song, and just showing her all of the fun “B” things that she already loves!

As many of you can already tell, Brielle LOVES to draw! She is actually getting a little bit better at tracing this week! B was such a fun letter, because I showed her how two of them can make a butterfly! And let me tell you, she was one happy kiddo when she found that out!

One of her favorite things to do now is take bubble baths, and she found out that there is a “B for Brielle” in the bubble baths label.  She kept saying B,B,B the entire time in the bath! Hey, at least she is picking up on it!

She also LOVES her baby Emmie! It is funny because she seems to think her baby Emmie starts with a B! Every time I would say “Emmie is a baby, what letter does baby start with?” and Brielle would say “B for Brielle!” lol So letter awareness is happening, which is great! At least it’s a good start.

Blocks have become something that we were working on how to build them up and NOT knock them over, so this week she got so much better at the stacking of the blocks. I was so excited when she got to the number 8, I literally stood up and clapped for her, and she was SO excited!!

Oh and one of the most fun ways we were learning how to spell her was I made up a song with a good beat and while clapping my hands saying “B-R-I-E-L-L-E that’s how you spell _______” and Brielle shouts BRIELLE!  It’s because adorable with how she is recognizing her name so well.  I loved this week, and I hope some of the pictures show how much she loved it as well!
