Welcome, to my new blog!

This is my first post on my new blog and I am so VERY excited!!  This has been a long time coming, and after writing 87 posts on my other site, I figured now is the time to do this!   I am so excited to see what this year brings with my blogging world, and I am so ready to thrive in something that I love to do!

For anyone who doesn’t know me personally, I would like to introduce myself!  I am a 26 year old, wife, mother, and a follower of Jesus Christ.  I am married to probably the greatest man, Shane!  We have been together 10 years this march, but we got married on 10-10-10.  We have three beautiful children.  Two of them are our angel babies–Lamar Grant Johnson and Rochelle Elaine Johnson.  We have one crazy, cute, and fun 20 month old named Brielle Diane Johnson.  We have learned to truly enjoy every single day to the fullest, because you never know when God is going to take you to be with Him.

I am an RN (I graduated 12/12/12) and that was such a dream come true, and I truly love being a nurse!  I currently work two part-time jobs.  One in pediatric home health (which I have been with the same patient for over a year) in Austin,Tx and one in the nursing home in my home town, Yoakum, Tx.  I love working with both ends of the spectrum, life is such a beautiful thing!

Our family attends St. James Baptish Church in my small town of Yoakum, Tx.  I believe the Lord has blessed our family in every aspect of our lives, and I am very excited for our future and to see the many blessings that come our way.  I gave myself to the Lord a little over three years ago, and that was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  I truly feel like God has been such a rock and a foundation in our family, in good times and in bad.

In addition to our family, we have two dogs and one cat.  Our cat is named Oscar and we adopted him four years ago when I started working at the nursing home.  He is definitely Brielle’s favorite pet and she calls all cats “Ocar”.  We also have two dogs, Maddie and Toby.  Maddie is a little older than Oscar and she is a lab/blue heeler mix.  She is one of the most energetic dogs you will ever meet.  Toby is our full lab who is almost the complete opposite of Maddie, which definitely works out for us.  We love our three animals and they definitely complete our family.

I can’t wait to see what our future brings, and we are definitely happy to have you all along for the ride!
